Focal Sopra N°2
Sopra N°2 aims for maximal compactness to ensure integration into reasonably sized rooms. Each speaker has a 3 way high end loudspeaker with two 7" woofers. Each speaker is equipped with the best midrange drivers with NIC and TMD technologies.
The beryllium tweeter features an incredibly light and extremely rigid dome, that deliver a transparent and dynamic sound. Its main limitation comes from the compression of air in the cavity behind it. In order to separate resonances, we implemented TMD technology. This optimizes the suspension which drastically reduces distortion and increase the definition of bass and midrange.
The cabinet is made in France. The 69mm sandwich machined front panel provides inertial and damping. Its density provides a stable reference to definition. The inside of the cabinet has no parallel side panels. Small Helmholtz resonators have been added to prevent vertical standing waves. Glass is used for the loudspeaker base to provide floor coupling - using spikes. This eliminates all halo effects in the bass.

Focal Kanta N°2
3 way floor standing speakers. The Kanta N°2 combines Beryllium in the IAL3 tweeter with Flax for the midrange and bass drivers. The result is precise - detailed sound with warmth and musicality.
The top is a polished black glass. The front colored baffle is a kind of smooth, matte high density polymer that feels a bit like polished stone. The matte wood side panels are similar to mid-century Scandinavian woods, with an ultra smooth, bright but rich stain that catches the eye yet also blends seamlessly into its surroundings.
Listening to the Kanta N°2 is easy. It provides exceptional bass performance. It’s huge, tight and punchy. Precision and punch happily coexist with this speaker.
The bass will be louder because it has greater range, this is an indication that this is a carefully tuned speaker.
Focal’s IAL gen 3 tweeter sounds transparent and revealing as some of the best ribbon and AMT tweeters. It has a wide dispersion and broader sweet spot of a more typical dome tweeter. The tweeter seems to morph like a chameleon to suit the program material, much in the way the bass on the Kanta No. 2 seems to have greater dynamic range.

Aria 948
The Aria 948 is a 3 way floor standing speaker with dual 8-1/4" speaker drivers providing intense, controlled bass, with a very smooth and natural sound.

Focal Aria 926
The Aria 926 embodies the home 3-way floor standing loudspeaker. It is an affordable audiophile loudspeaker for those who are passionate about music.
A Poron tweeter provides softer treble. Flax cones, made in France. The cones are oriented towards acoustic performance. They are made of high quality flax fiber enclosed by two thin layers of glass fiber. F cones are characterized by their natural sound, with low coloration. They offer rich reproduction in the midrange register and very tight bass.
Aria 906 - Bookshelf 2 way system
The sound from the Aria 906 has neutrality, presence and finesse from the flax cone. Flax cones are characterized by a natural sound, with low coloration. They offer reproduction richness in the midrange register and tighter bass. The result is a more homogeneous sound with improved dynamics.
The aluminum/magnesium tweeter is suspended by poron. This reduces distortion by a factor of three in the 2-3khz range
