Qutest

Chord Qutest at Custom Home HiFi

Qutest is Chord Electronics' pure digital-to-analog converter; it does not contain headphone amplification or rechargeable batteries.

Its focus is to vastly improve a home's sound quality. Featuring a galvanically isolated USB-B, optical, and coaxial digital inputs.

Hugo 2 - DAC

Chord Hugo2 available at Custom HiFi

Most headphones, including harder to drive ones like the Sennheiser HD800S and most planar magnetic headphones, such as the Audeze LCD-3 and LCD-4 need a great connection.

Compared to the 256-tap filters of traditional chip DACs, Hugo2 TT is an infinitely more powerful Xilinx Artix 7 FPGA, custom-coded by Chord Electronics’ Rob Watts with 86x 208MHz cores running in parallel to create an advanced 16FS WTA 1 filter with 98,304-taps.

A brand-new, high-powered discrete output stage coupled with second-order noise-shaping integration between the DAC output and filter massively reduce distortion.

Hugo2 TT also brings home the beloved four-stage user-selectable filter controls introduced with Hugo 2 and retains the three-stage user-selectable digital crossfeed function for headphone users who want to improve the perception of depth, similar to that of speakers.

Mojo

Chord Mojo available at Custom HiFi

Mojo is the ultimate portable DAC/Headphone Amp that allows you to hear more from your headphones – anywhere.

Pair Mojo with your Smartphone, tablet, music player, DAP, games console, PC, Mac, or almost anything that allows audio out via USB, Optical, or Coax.

Most importantly, whether you’re at home of on the go, you can experience up to eight hours of music playback meaning that you’ll never be caught loose and when you need to recharge you’ll be back up and running in only four hours when you use a 2A charger.

Mojo is designed and built in England using only the finest components, using the world’s most sophisticated machines, with a solid CNC milled aluminium shell with fun globe style LED indicators.

Mojo retains Chord Electronics renowned reliability, build quality, and tank proof aesthetic. But when you combine this with the latest trickle down FPGA DAC technology from the Hugo series and Dave products, Mojo is an unbeatable pocketable device that offers Hugo like performance for a fraction of the cost.

Mojo + Poly

Poly is a revolutionary music streamer. When partnered with Mojo, it enables music streamed from a range of wireless connected devices to be enjoyed in the best possible sound quality, whether at home or on the go.

Poly is also a music player: its unlimited-capacity Micro SD card slot can house huge libraries and liberate storage on smart devices. Full smartphone control using everyday apps enables effortless music playback whether streaming or playing music from the Micro SD.

Poly directly connects to Mojo’s award-winning audio processing (DAC) technology dramatically improving the audio quality of streamed music.

Its advanced design enables everyday devices, including Android and Apple smartphones/tablets, to become portable ‘hi-fi-quality’ digital audio players: the smartphone becomes the controller, with Poly and Mojo doing the high-level audio processing.

Poly can also be used with computers and laptops, plus it can access networked audio stored on NAS drives using popular DLNA apps.

Playback is via Mojo’s twin headphone outputs, plus home and in-car audio systems with auxiliary (AUX) inputs can also benefit from improved sound quality.

2go + 2yu

Chord 2go + 2yu available at Custom HiFi

2go is a high-performance streamer/server that transforms the Hugo 2 DAC into a fully featured Wi-Fi- and Ethernet-enabled device with up to 4 TB of solid-state library playback, bringing the proven sound quality benefits of our award-winning Hugo 2 DAC technology to network audio.

2yu is an advanced designed-for-2go digital interface enabling 2go as a fully-fledged standalone streamer, ready to be used with external DACs and devices, including the 768-kHz upscaling Hugo M Scaler.

2yu connects directly to 2go to add TOSLINK optical S/PDIF, coaxial and BNC (both 75 ohms) digital outputs, plus a cleverly integrated USB-A output.

2yu boasts 2,000 MIPS (million instructions per second) of processing power, an integrated sample rate converter, plus a low-jitter audio phase lock loop.

Highly flexible in its potential applications, 2go with 2yu is also ideal for installers wishing to create a discreet remote Roon streaming solution: the duo can be wired into an Ethernet port to provide streaming to a system in any room.

2yu alone can also be used with PCs and Macs via USB to create a high-quality USB-to-digital-audio converter for audio.
